Privacy Statement

Examples that identify real events or persons

Sometimes we use real life examples to help illustrate methods or techniques. The names and some details are always altered to protect the privacy of those involved. The exception is where the example has previously been reported in the public domain such as in newspapers or court proceedings. We try to use gender neutral names and pronouns in the spirit of removing any gender bias as well as helping to protect identities. In cases where in the course of training real life events are discussed, all details will remain confidential. If in the event that these are subsequently used as examples of use of techniques, all identifying details will be removed. While we seek to uphold the right to privacy with the utmost discretion, please do not hesitate to advise us when specific examples should not be used at all and we will be happy to comply.
